Lykke partners with Cardano Foundation

Zug, Switzerland. – July 22, 2020 – Lykke Corp, the Swiss-based fintech firm, blockchain exchange, and financial product provider is proud to announce its partnership with Cardano Foundation — a Swiss-based independent entity that advances and enables the Cardano blockchain.

The collaboration—aimed at combining the Cardano Foundation’s deep blockchain technology experience with Lykke Corp’s financial expertise—will enhance Lykke’s financial services offerings and strengthen its position in the market.

“Cardano has all of the critical attributes to become the blockchain of choice for banks— scalability, formal methods, and a peer-reviewed code base. Our collaboration with the Cardano Foundation enhances the organized trading facility (OTF) offerings of Lykke, and paves the way for new Lykke products and services built and deployed on Cardano”, – said Richard Olsen, Founder and Lykke’s CEO.

“Lykke Corp is one of Switzerland’s most innovative blockchain financial companies and we are pleased to be partnering with its expert team. Through this collaboration, both the Cardano Foundation and Lykke Corp will seek to build out financial infrastructure and offer services that will both empower the Cardano ecosystem and enrich the wider blockchain space”, –said Nathan Kaiser, Chairperson of the Cardano Foundation.

This partnership will enrich both organizations’ offerings by combining technology and expertise to deliver a new framework of products and financial services. Both the Cardano Foundation and Lykke Corp are keen on what lies ahead and the opportunities this partnership will bring in the future.
